If you look at the movements of each game, they replicate.  Everybody wants to get faster and quicker, but certain movement patterns really make each game special. Some of that, in soccer for instance, is with and without a soccer ball. With hockey, its with and without a puck. With football its movement and reaction. And so, what we’re trying to do is really give athletes the training and opportunity to improve their speed and their power output.

At Proformance Sports Training, we use a highly controlled setting to isolate and mimic what’s happening in a specific game, mimic the situational stress that they’re put on in their sport so that the carryover is high. Then the performance actually on the field is improved, not just the test number that we improve in here. I think that’s what separates us from the rest of the trainers out there. We’re not only improving their numbers, their vertical, their 40, their upper and lower body strength, we’re improving their game.
