Mission Statement

Our goal is to not only train and teach, but to inspire and challenge athletes to reach their dreams and far more. Here at Proformance, the methodology is based on functional movements with the purpose of creating a clearer signal pattern to allow the body to respond and act faster. From there speed, power, and agility can be developed properly.

Background and Experience

My background and experience comes from 20 plus years of basketball starting in the Suburbs of Chicago playing grammar school ball, then leading into high school where I was a 4-year starter on varsity at Marian Catholic High School.  From high school I then earned an athletic scholarship to play Division 1 basketball at The University at Buffalo. 

Having gone through 2 back surgeries in my 4 years at The University at Buffalo, I decided to train with John Opfer at Proformance Sports after my college career ended.  Working with John and believing in what he had to offer really helped me reach that next level athletically and mentally of my playing career.  I was fortunate enough to be able to continue my career and play professionally for 4 years which included stops in France, Germany, and England.

 The knowledge and success I gained from my training experience at Proformance led me to pursue and earn my certification as a personal trainer in hopes of helping other athletes reach their dreams just as Proformance helped me reach mine.
